Police Chief Mark Kearns advises that some residents have received requests for donations by mail which appear to be affiliated with or solicited on behalf of the Ogdensburg Police Department.
Chief Kearns warns that this is a scam, and the requests for donations are in no way affiliated with the Ogdensburg Police Department.
Chief Kearns recommends that the requests be destroyed and that no one forwards any type of donation to the address on the notice.
