The City of Ogdensburg will be hosting a continuation of the Ogdensburg History Museum's 155th birthday celebration of the city on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dobisky Visitors Center, Riverside Avenue.
The Ogdensburg History Museum, 206 Ford St., will host an ice cream social from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day. The City will keep the party going with cake, music, surprises and vintage and traditional games. Entertainment will be provided by OFA instrumentalists and a DJ.
In between the celebrations, the museum wants you to help find Ogdensburg's lost 'h'. Ogdensburg dropped its 'h' in 1868, and there will be “h's” hidden between the museum and the Dobisky Center. Come find them! Check in at the museum before 1p.m. to get the details during the ice cream social. Follow the City of Ogdensburg and Ogdensburg History Museum Facebook pages for details.
The events are sponsored in part by the St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union, the Ogdensburg Farmers' Craft and Art Market, Stewarts, River Rat Designs and Ogdensburg Price Chopper.
Bring the family for this fun birthday party celebrating the City's 155th year!
