City Seeks Proposals for Sale of 17 Main Street

Ogdensburg city 1868

The City of Ogdensburg is inviting all interested parties to consider this exciting opportunity to develop 17 Main Street in the City’s Marina District. Proximate to both the St. Lawrence and the Oswegatchie rivers and only steps from the Maple City Trail, this nearly one acre property has the potential to be transformed into a Marina District destination.

The 17 Main Street site is a vacant property owned by the City of Ogdensburg that is available for redevelopment. The primary site feature is its location in the City’s Marina District. Proximate to a variety of existing downtown waterfront attractions and features, the 17 Main Street site provides a great opportunity to connect to the City’s goal of developing as a destination in the North Country.

Interested parties may either contact the Director of Planning and Development at asmith@ogdensburg.org or visit www.ogdensburgwaterfront.com to obtain a complete copy of the RFP.

Submission shall be sent by email in a single merged file (PDF format) no later than 3:00 PM on October 29, 2021 to: asmith@ogdensburg.org.

All property sold by the City of Ogdensburg is, “as is” and “where is”, by quit claim deed. The City makes no warranty as to clear title or condition.
