The City of Ogdensburg will soon begin hiring seasonal workers for the spring and summer months to include recreation leaders, summer DPW workers and lifeguards.
Preference will be given to City Residents and previous City employees with satisfactory employment history who are enrolled in college.
Lifeguards living outside the City, but within the Enlarged Ogdensburg City School District, will be considered if Ogdensburg lifeguards are not available.
Applications are available at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, at the Department of Public Works, 901 Champlain Street or online by clicking here.
The deadline for applications is April 30, 2021, and submissions must include copies of lifeguard certifications and ID as well as proof of college for the fall of 2021 semester, if applicable.
Completed applications and supporting documentation should be returned to the Department of Public Works, 901 Champlain Street.
