NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The City of Ogdensburg invites sealed proposals for the Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Materials Cleanup - 30 Main Street. Generally, the project is a cleanup project, including removal and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials located at 30 Main Street, Ogdensburg, New York.
Bids will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, 330 Ford Street, Ogdensburg, NY 13669 until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. They shall be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Council Chambers at that time. Proposals received after that time will not be accepted. If City Hall continues to be semi-shut down due to COVID-19, the bids will be opened and a bid tabulation shall be posted on the City’s website before the close of business the day of the bid opening.
Bidding and contract documents may be examined and obtained from the City’s web site: https://www.ogdensburg.org/bids.aspx. All questions regarding this Request for Bids should be directed to Jennifer Ashley, City of Ogdensburg Department of Engineering (315) 393-7900 or via email at . Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda and posted on the website with the bid documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date of the opening of Bids may not be answered.
Bidders will be expected to familiarize themselves with the site by observation and the Inspection Reports being made a part of this bid notice. A pre-bid walkthrough of the site will not be offered due to the presence of hazardous materials.
Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% of the total bid price in the form described in the "INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS". No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of opening thereof.
