IMPORTANT DATES FOR ASSESSMENTS
City of Ogdensburg – If you received a postcard with information regarding Senior citizen exemptions, the Application for Partial Tax Exemption for Real Property of Senior Citizens (RP-467) is available at City Hall, or through the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance: (https://www.tax.ny.gov/pdf/current_forms/orpts/rp467_fill_in.pdf).
The Ogdensburg Assessor holds office hours Wednesday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Thursday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, or by appointment. Ascertainment of facts for assessment
Taxable status date - last day for accepting exemption applications
Second Monday of May
Tentative completion of assessment roll
10 days prior to the third Tuesday in June
Notice of increased / decreased assessments
Second Tuesday in June
Grievance day - Sections 506 and 512
On or before August 1
Final completion and filing of assessment roll
