The City of Ogdensburg will offer swim lessons beginning on Thursday July 12th from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Elsa M. Luksich Municipal Pool. The city will hold testing days on Wednesday, July 8th and Thursday, July 9th at 10:00 AM at no cost. Participants will be placed in groups based on their needs and swimming goals.
Swim lessons will take place four times a week following testing day; Tuesday through Friday mornings between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM through Friday, August 12th. The cost of the four-week program is $30 for the first child and $25 for each additional child registered. Lessons will be 30 minutes with up to 8 children per group. Additionally, the municipal pool will be open for Early Bird Swim on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, beginning July 5th from 6:15 AM to 7:15 AM and will end on August 10th. Individual day passes are $3 each or a season pass is $35. Season passes can be purchased in advance by contacting the Recreation Director at 315.393.1980. Day passes can be purchased on site.
Pool parties are now being offered through the Recreation Department from 10 AM to noon on Saturdays and Sundays beginning July 2, 2022 and ending August 14, 2022. The two- hour span would occur prior to public swimming opening at noon on the weekends. Cost will be $50 an hour.
The City of Ogdensburg accepts cash or check payments. Checks should be made payable to the City of Ogdensburg.
