The City of Ogdensburg is currently accepting applications for the position of Deputy City Clerk which is an important administrative and project management position involving responsibility for executing the critical functions of city government. The successful candidate must have the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment where attention to detail and flexibility is imperative. There is considerable contact with the public and local officials involved with the execution of this position’s primary duties.
The starting salary is $48,000 - $54,000, depending on qualifications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a resident of the City of Ogdensburg, graduation from high school or the possession of a high school equivalency diploma and five years of full-time paid work experience in a responsible administrative or management position, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that indicates the ability to successfully fulfill the duties of the position and are acceptable to the City Manager.
