ReZONE Ogdensburg Public Input Survey and Meetings

A consolidated draft zoning ordinance is available for public review in hard copy, both in the Planning Office as well as the Ogdensburg Public Library.  The document is also available for review in PDF through the City’s website.  The consolidated draft includes a proposed zoning map, LWRP Shoreline Overlay map, highway signage overlay map, and downtown off-street parking and loading exemption map.  The consolidated draft ordinance is still very much a working document and is subject to additional changes with feedback from the public.

Along with three upcoming open house events, there is an online survey available to the public through survey monkey:

The public meetings will be held at the Dobisky Visitor Center, 100 Riverside Ave, as follows:

The meetings will be an Open House format with exhibits displayed of the proposed amendment including proposed maps.  The public will have an opportunity to view displays and speak with members of the Planning Board and planning staff.  There is also an online survey:

The online survey enables members of the community to provide comments on the City’s current ordinance, what’s working, what’s not, and what changes should be addressed by this amendment process.

The workshop is free and open to the public and all are invited to attend.
