Surviving Unexpected Emergencies

Tuesday, March 21

The presentation by Gene Lalonde will address survival considerations related to a wide variety of potential emergencies including the Blizzard of '77 and Ice Storm of '98 as well as emergencies related to winter travel and the loss of the electrical power grid. Discussion will be focused on preparing for and surviving emergencies, items to stock, food storage and preservation, medical considerations, and civil unrest. Mr. Lalonde is a retired pilot with a background in electronics, a survivalist spending much of his adult life in the outdoors hunting, camping, and canoeing. He now lives off-grid with his family and recently wrote a novel about surviving after an EMP attack on the United States.
