Department Responsibilities

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for the following:

• Maintenance of City-owned parking facilities and right-of-ways
• Maintenance of City-owned property, including: 11 parks, the marina and 16 buildings
• Road maintenance
• Sewer and drainage maintenance
• Sidewalk construction
• Snow and ice control
• Street cleaning
• Street lighting
• Yard waste collection
